Meet MariaTeresa, Associate from our Latin America region. MariaTeresa joined our Peru office in 2018 and has shared the highlights of her time at Partners in Performance, in three words... 

Recently I was having a conversation with a friend, who asked me to summarise my career at Partners in Performance in three words. So far, I have worked with clients from a range of industries and even worked across a range of different countries - so it wasn't easy to summarise my experience in just three words! But after giving it some thought, I have picked the following: people, travel and growth.

People
When staffed on a project, we share a lot of moments together - from the day-to-day challenges, to having our breakfasts, lunches and dinners together... you get the idea! Yes, we see each other a lot. We get to know one another, and we form some really strong bonds within our teams. We also rely on each other to deliver results and to support our clients.

Since joining Partners in Performance, I have met some of the most intelligent, yet down-to-earth people. Bright people who have inspired me, people who are willing to mentor me, have the patience to listen to my highs and lows, and people that genuinely care for one another. These are the people that I can now call my best friends.

Travel

For me, one of the most exciting things about working at Partners in Performance is the opportunity to travel. It gets me out of my routine and gives me the opportunity to travel to new places, go on adventures, meet new people, learn about new life experiences, broaden my horizons... the list goes on. To me, this is priceless.

I like to say that I'm in love with places I've never been to... yet! Below are some of the places I've been in the past year and a half (many of which are thanks to my work at Partners in Performance).

Growth

Partners in Performance has definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone. I have grown both personally and professionally in ways I didn’t think were possible. The exposure and impact I have had on both the front line and senior managers this early on in my career, has taught me countless lessons that now I live by. I have learned (and am still learning!) not only how to solve problems, but also to do so across various industries and countries.
